Have finally taken the time to upload a card I have made for my grandson. I used my pazzle inspiration to make a cutting file from a stain glass coloring file I found on the internet. Hope he will like it.

I made this card for a friends birthday, and still have it sitting on my desk, how hard could it be to put a address and a stamp on it? Now it is a belated birthday card. Sure hope someone out there can relate.

New Look

I have finally taken the time to figure out how to give my blog a new look. I can't belive it is as easy as it was, thanks to others who have shared there talent with others. I pray they are blessed for sharing their talents.

I have been so very slow

It has been almost a month since I posted, my husband has been very sick and in the hospital. But he is out of the hospital and doing good. So hopefully things will be quiet around here for a while. My youngest daughter just got back from Mr Rushmore, with my two youngest grandsons. They sure had a great time. But now is off on her annual canoe trip. But I do want to share with you my husbands Father's day card that I made him.

Hummingbird Pictures

Looking out my bedroom window, I caught a hummingbird in the Rose of Sharon. It was fun trying to get a picture of the fast little thing.

Baby is coming

This is so exciting that our nephew and his wife is expecting. This is their first. So got busy today and made them a congradultion card.

Tulip Festival n Pella IA

The tulips were so beautiful, the weather was perfect for our trip. We had so much fun shopping in the shops, eating lunch and oh lets not forget the Dutch bakery we had a good time buying all the goodies to eat. What a lovely time I had with my husband!

On the Road to Des Moines

We went back to Des Moines to finish visiting with my sister n law, before returning home to Troy.

Visiting with Cousins

I haven't been able to spend much time with my cousins, when we were grewing up we were like brothers and sisters. Now that we have families and we moved around with my husband being in the Air Force it has seen each other here and there mostly at funerals. So we meet in Omaha and spent the weekend together and we had a great time reminencing and visiting our hometown and places we remember. I also got to visit my mother and fathers gravesite.

On the interstate to Omaha we came upon fields of these windmills, huge windmills, this was really something to see.

Visiting with Great Nieces

My sister n laws grandchildren only live around the block, it is so much fun seeing the great nieces, they sure enjoyed the little gifts we brought along with us.

On the Road to Des Moines

After spending the night in Hanibal Mo, we are on the road to Des Moines to visit with my sister n law. I love to take pictures of old Barns.

I was so happy to find, the graves of my grandmother and grandfather, with the help of information at the library.

On the Road

My husband and I on the road, to Barry IL, to do some tombstone hunting, were my Father grew up. What fun to go and visit. I haven't been back in over 20 years. My grandma's house is gone, just about didn't recognize the place, a new winery off the interstate and now they have a direct road into Barry from the interstate, and business' starting up at the exit.

Last Easter we had snow, at least this Easter we had sunshine, but was a little cool. The boys still got to go outside and hunt for eggs.

My daughters Birthday Card

Wanted to share the birthday card I made my daughter for her family birthday today. The family will be here soon we are having hot dogs and hamburgers, and it is raining cats and dogs outside.

This is another example of the Mops album for the auction. I enjoyed the challenge of these pages not having pictures or trying to make them so that they can be used for either a boy or a girl.

I have been busy making a album for our mops group at church they are having a chili dinner and silent auction. I tried to make it so that it could be for both girl or boy. Was not really easy to do. I sure hope that it helps them to make some money for the group.

Birthday in March

My oldest daughter, is going to be celebrating her 43rd birthday, the first week in March. And I have been doing some digital scrapbooking so that I can have her last years birthday pictures ready for her next birthday. I don't think we can top last years family party. We decorated with flip flops, and made strawberry smoothies.

Working on Valentine Cards

The count down has begun, and I am behind the eight

ball trying to get my valentine cards and gifts done.

These cards are in the mail to our great nieces.



I used my pchubclub clipart to make there cards.

Hopefully tomorrow I will get some more made, am also

trying to get some pocket Kleenex box's done for my Sunday School friends, and my friends who come over on

Wednesday to make cards and scrapbook.

• This is my grandson Clayton, he is the baby of the family and he made a great Wiseman in the Christmas program at our church this year.

Anniversary

I have to start thinking about our Anniversary that is coming up, 45 years the first of February. Boy what do you do for a man who has everything, and buys what every he wants when he wants it. This is last years Valentine's Day and Abbey is getting her valentine chew toy.

New Layout

I got to scrapbook today I finally got to spend most of the day in my craft room. I but my pazzels inspiration to work and cut out the title and the scalloped circle. I finally feel like I am getting back into the swing of things after the holidays put a stop to the scrapbooking. I probably shouldn't of spent the day in the craft room because my sister-n-law and brother-n-law are coming for a visit, and I don't have the house total put back together from the Christmas decorations.
The little girl in the picture is now my 43 year old married daughter of 4 boys. The pictures were taken in Laredo TX, when my husband was stationed at Laredo AFB. We were at Laredo from 1967 to 1971. Would love to have some of that warm weather about now.

Burrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

It is so cold my old bone's is feeling the winter chill. The poor birds at my window feeders are also feeling the bitter cold of January. Yesterday a poor little bird decided to sleep inside the bird feeder, gave me a scare I first thought the poor bird had died in my window feeder. But it had just overeaten and fell asleep.
